Account & Data Deletion

You can delete your account and its associated data at any time, either directly in the app or by emailing us. Lisafi and Lisafi Pro share the same shop: deleting your account from either one deletes the same thing, and there is nothing to do twice.

1. Delete from the app

Open Lisafi and go to Profile — or, in Lisafi Pro, My profile (on a phone: the More tab, then My account).
At the bottom of the screen, tap "Delete my account".
To confirm, type the word DELETE and confirm.

In Lisafi Pro this screen stays reachable even if your Pro subscription has expired or never started: deleting your data is never behind a payment.

2. What gets deleted

Your role	Effect of deletion
Owner	The entire shop is permanently deleted: the shop, all customers, the entry history, the activity log and all member accounts (owner, helpers and Pro managers), together with your sign-in identity. On the Lisafi Pro side, the product catalogue, every stock movement, every sale and its receipt, the sale numbering, and the stored photos (bills and product photos) are deleted too.
Helper	Only your access is removed. The shop's data remains intact for the owner.

Important (owner): you cannot delete the shop while any customer still has a non-zero balance (a debt or a prepayment/avance). Settle all customer accounts first, then retry the deletion.

3. Data that may be retained

For accounting and legal reasons, some Mobile Money payment records (subscription deposits and collections) may be kept in a form separated from the shop's ledger. They are used only to evidence the transactions that took place.

4. Delete by email

If you cannot use the app, email techwoila@gmail.com from the email address on your account, or quoting your account phone number. After we verify your identity, your request will be processed within 30 days.
